So, how can you change something if it's already there? For example, if you build a time machine, which is actually kind of what happened) and try to go back in time to prevent world war I from happening. You try to prevent Franz Ferdinand from getting assassinated, but you end up CAUSING the assassination of Franz Ferdinand.
